Mackenize Carrier
Mackenzie Carrier was born and raised in the Tri Cities. She graduated from Daniel Boone High School in 2017 and received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Human Development and Learning in 2021 and her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2022 from East Tennessee State University. She began her career in 2021 when she accepted a teaching position at Fall Branch School. She currently teaches 7th and 8th grade students and coaches girls’ volleyball and Girls on the Run. She is a member of Calvary Church, an Alpha Delta Pi Alum, and a former Walt Disney World cast member. In her free time, she enjoys going to see Broadway musicals, spending time with her family, and traveling.
As a teacher, she sees firsthand the difference meaningful learning interactions can have on a child’s education and development. She is passionate about investing her time in the future generations while at work and now through this inspiring experience.
She is very excited and deeply honored to participate in Dancing with the Tri Cities Stars with the opportunity to support the incredible work that the Jeremiah School is doing in order to give every student an individualized education so that they can develop their skills and reach their fullest potential.
