
Michael Moore
Michael Moore was born on July 25, 1985, in Lenore, West Virginia. From an early age, he discovered a passion for the performing arts and began participating in musical theatre at just 14 years old. His love for the stage led him to perform in numerous productions, including Hello, Dolly!, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, State Fair, Fiddler on the Roof, and Charlotte’s Web. One of his most memorable and favorite roles was portraying Willard in the Broadway musical Footloose, a performance that combined his energy, charisma, and love of entertainment.
Alongside his passion for theatre, Michael developed a deep commitment to youth athletics. For more than 20 years, he has been a competitive cheerleading coach, dedicating himself to mentoring young athletes and helping them achieve their goals. Under his leadership, his teams have earned numerous County, State, and National Championships. Michael is known for his ability to inspire confidence, discipline, and teamwork in children of all ages, making a lasting impact both on and off the mat.
Michael also followed a calling to healthcare, specifically oncology. Driven by a desire to help others during some of life’s most challenging moments, he became a nurse at the age of 19. His career led him to Tampa, Florida, where he worked at a major cancer and research center and lived for 15 years. During that time, he met the love of his life, and the two have now been happily married for 9 years.
Today, Michael resides in Morristown, Tennessee, where he continues his work as an oncology nurse, providing compassionate care and support to cancer patients in his community. Whether in the hospital, on the cheer mat, or on stage, Michael’s life has been defined by dedication, compassion, and a genuine passion for helping others shine.
