Keddrain “KD” Bowen

KD is the founder/owner of Fanatics 101 in the Mall at Johnson City and the Asheville Mall. He started his business out the trunk of his car in 2003 with $300. He also started Appville 101 in 2013. Bowen is originally from Washington, North Carolina, but he has called East Tennessee home for the past 17 years. He is a proud alumnus of Tusculum, where he played football and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management.

Giving back to the community has always been important to KD. He has volunteered with the Johnson City parks and rec center as a coach. He is currently on the board of directors for both FCA and CASA of Northeast Tennessee. He has participated in the “Real Men Wear Pink of the Tri-Cities, Big Wigs of the Tri-Cities, and he was a “kilt man” for the Ronald McDonald House. KD tries to balance work and community involvement with important family time. He enjoys attending sporting events and vacationing with his family. Bowen is honored to be a part of the 2019 Tri-Cities Stars and is ecstatic about raising awareness and support for Jeremiah school.
