Jason has a passion for food!!! He is a Johnson City native and attended East Tennessee State University. He started cooking at an early age and knew the culinary arts was a craft he wanted to pursue. As an entrepreneur, he has owned several restaurants and continues to have great success. His current venture is J Frank in Bristol, Tennessee. J Frank has become a popular place for many to call home. Steaks, seafood and beyond; done to perfection in the cozy and refined environment of a historic Victorian home built in the 1850s, formerly known as The Troutdale Dining Room. Jason purchased the restaurant in 2015 and named the restaurant after his Grandfather, Mr. James Franklin Elliot, as a tribute to him.
Jason has a heart for delighting the palate and bringing people together over wonderful food and fellowship. Jason’s talents do not end with cooking; he is also a DIY fanatic, creating more than just food, he is an artist! Jason loves traveling….visiting France, Mexico and the Bahamas to enhance his culinary vision.
He is extremely excited for the opportunity to get his dancing shoes on and polished, rocking with Dancing with the Stars of Tri-Cities in support of the Jeremiah School!
