Dr. Brooke Jones-Cannon
Dr. Brooke Jones-Cannon is the daughter of Dr. Tammy Holsclaw-Jones and Randy Jones. Dr. Jones-Cannon has two younger siblings, Casey and Alex Jones. She grew up in Elizabethton, Tennessee, where she attended Elizabethton High School. She participated in cheerleading, color-guard, dance, and tennis. After graduating from EHS in the top 10 percent of her class in 2009, Brooke attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. During her time there, she was a member of the cheerleading team, and met her husband, Ethan Cannon, on that same team. After graduating Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Pre-Professional Health, Brooke attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she received her Doctorate of Optometry. Dr. Jones-Cannon now works alongside her mother in their privately-owned optometry practice in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Dr. Jones-Cannon’s father and husband also work at the practice as certified opticians. Recently, Brooke and Ethan welcomed their firstborn child, Karsen Presley Cannon, into the world. In her spare time, Dr. Jones-Cannon enjoys spending time with her close-knit family, working out, wakeboarding, traveling, and more. Dr. Jones-Cannon hopes to welcome her sister and brother to the practice – as an optometrist and physical therapist, respectively – to the practice.
