Carrie is the Co-Owner of the Yoga Farm. After 17 years in the pursuit if a healthy lifestyle, Carrie has put down the paintbrush in favor of just that. Together with the help of her husband, they created the Yoga Farm in Carter County. They share with their clients a life of more Zen through Yoga, Massage and Reiki and the beauty of their farm with Mother Nature. Of course, you can’t forget the Yoga Farm mascots; their rescue doggies Duke and Dazy, who help bring more calming to each class.
Having moved from Florida 22 years ago, Carrie has her feet planted in the Tri Cities as firmly as her tree pose. An example of Carrie’s passion for yoga and helping her community was by helping launch Tweetsie Trail’s new Storybook Trail featuring the book “I Am Yoga”, is one such example of combining her passion for yoga with helping the local community. The Yoga Farm introduced yoga poses to students and families as they read each page of the book on this new trail created by the Grow Carter County, an initiative designed to promote and improve health in Carter County.
For the last 4 years, Carrie has been able to indulge her appetite for music, singing and theatre coupled with her mad organizational skills by volunteering for the Dancing with the Tri Cities Stars committee and other community organizations. Tonight, she hopes to put a smile on your face as she dances for the various charities represented. It is her honor and pleasure to be here. Namaste.
